On the Sunshine Coast in Queensland we did a Whale Watch trip to Hervey Bay. What an unforgettable experience to see these wonderful gentle giants. We sighted so many pods, but these three Humpback Whales put on a show that totally fascinated us. Hope you enjoy these photographs -  it was a day we will long remember.
 

These Humpback whales migrate from their feeding grounds in Antarctica to the Great Barrier Reef where they breed. Returning to Antarctica they spend some time in Hervey Bay feeding their new calves and resting before continuing the journey South.
